Speaker 3/21: Clinton Schaff

A graduate of both the USC Annenberg School for Communication and the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, Clinton (Clint) Schaff currently is the Vice President of Golin Harris,’ interactive and digital media division,Dialogue and an Industry Faculty in the Annenberg School of Communication at USC for the APOC program. Dialogue utilizes various media (print, social, interactive, etc.) to reach specific audiences with maximum impact. At USC Schaff serves as the co-instructor for the introductory course for APOC – a specialized track focusing on online communities.

Schaff was one of several senior hires Golin Harris made in 2010 for the Dialogue group, with the goal being that he would “help Golin Harris teams and clients take full advantage of new opportunities to share their stories creatively through digital media.”

Prior to Golin Harris, Schaff was the Director New Media at Roll International , a privately held company whose brands include Pom Wonderful, Fiji Water, and Teleflora. There he worked with the in-house marketing agency to expand their reach online and in social media marketing. Along with Roll International, Schaff has worked for Mouth Watering Media and M80 on marketing campaigns that all involve moving beyond traditional marketing platforms.

In addition, Schaff has been involved with the SEIU , and with both local and national political groups. He has worked with both Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez’s re-election campaign and former Vice President Al Gore’s office of Electronic Commerce Working Group. He is also a 2011 board member for the Los Angeles County Young Democrats, which is “focused on giving young people a voice and a vehicle for activism in local, state, and federal political issues. ”
